Charlies Angels and I need your help

Okay, so im a huge fan of one miss Cameron Diaz, and there has been rumors that she is on the way to do another Angels movie. Exciting, right?

And I need your help!!! Here is why, and here is how you can help.

Over the next month, my goal is to cut all soda out of my daily diet. Not only do I host afternoons on Star 92.1, but Im also the day to day program director. So I basically have a lot of stress that no one knows about on the air.

Soda and Stress go hand in hand...and its really an addiction to keep me alive and running.

So starting February 2, I am going to not drink any soda...and switch to all water. I was told that on average you can shed 10-12 pounds doing this, and its my goal! So I will blog everyday on my progress and I need your help to keep me on track and excited about doing this...plus I need your tips on other ways to lose weight besides going to a gym

too much snow

okay, some people like the snow...some people like the ice (although im not certain on who would be that crazy) but some people want Ohio just to be a great place with 65 degree weather year round.

see, ive been to ireland a couple times and the weather is amazing, yes..it rains a lot in ireland, but it would be so much better than this snow, yuck!

ahhh mount vernon

This is the town where I went to college, and even the town I grew up in, kinda. Its Mount Vernon Ohio, home of the Seventh Day Adventist world headquarters, America's only sub-ivy league college (Kenyon), the man who wrote Dixie and Mount Vernon Nazarene University..

Hope you enjoy this spoof of COPS.

HOW TO KEEP YOUR NEW YEARS RESOLUTION

Research shows that while 52 percent of participants in a New Year's resolution study were confident of success with their goals, only 12 percent actually achieved them. Here are five things you can do to have a better chance of making your New Year's resolution come to fruition.

1. Set achievable goals. Be realistic. And make it a goal you can fulfill without relying on others.

2. Describe your resolutions in specific terms. Instead of "I'm going to stop being so lazy," go with "I'll exercise regularly" or "I'll watch less TV."

3. Break down large goals into smaller ones. Commit to losing weight by joining a gym and improving eating habits.

4. Find an alternative to a behavior that you want to change, and make it part of your resolution plan. If you want to quit smoking, figure out why you smoked. To relax? What else can you do instead to feel relaxed?

5. Pursue something truly important to you, not what you think you ought to do or what others expect of you.

Ring in the new year

So last week I asked what is your NY Resolutions.

I figured it would be okay to post the stations NYR's for 2009.

1) Introduce more people to the station everyday
2) Play more hit music every hour (maybe upwards to 15 songs an hour)
3) Let you have complete control of what we play on 92.1
4) Allow you to vote on the #1 song every hour.

What are some of the things you want to see us do in 2009?
